RE: Providence (An Original Poem)

Thanks! Yes, I think we've all met a stranger or had an experience that seemed unexplainably familiar. Fragrance is a big one too. I remember the first time I caught the scent of patchouli. I was at a festival in Columbus (ComFest) in the early 1990's and someone was wearing it and the fragrance triggered all kinds of feelings and memories. It was so strange.

That is really interesting. If I smelled it today I would probably be taken back to my days burning sandalwood and patchouli at my old house. I definitely wasn't trying to cover anything up though! :)

Haha, sure you weren't! : ). I used to use it in my car as an air freshener. If I were ever to have gotten pulled over my car would be searched for sure! Patchouli is one of those things that people either really like or really don't.

My wife is not a fan of it at all. She always points it out anytime she notices it.

My wife can tolerate it but it isn't her favorite.
