An unknown author shows you the many things we at times don't appreciate.
I was trying to find some good reads and stumbled upon this and couldn't help keep my eyes from reading. There isn't much I can tell you about this author for he is unknown, but the words definitely motivate you to crave what is needed and appreciate what you do have.
For your inspiration – Thankful Poem
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

When I was in deep trouble my friend was telling to me, this awful situation is Your blessing although seems ugly. This poem reminded me on that. The poet put good points. If we are willing to advance then upthere are the solutions...

Thankfulness is one of the most important qualities one can develop for greater enjoyment in life overall. Learning to count your blessings is huge in changing your mindset, which leads to changing your life as a whole.
It's interesting, I recently read a synopsis of a study done at Harvard tackiling what makes certain individuals successful. One of the primairy conclusions they came to was that it isn't success that leads to happiness, but happiness that leads to greater success.
This, of course, stems from your ability to appreciate and be thankful for your life, your capabilities, and your position for what they are, rather than focusing on what you aren't. I think you captured this very nicely here:

It is ashame the author goes unnamed. Sometimes we fail to be accepting and grateful of our own greatness.
