If I were your friend 2

As ants team to build
Mansions of anthills,
Whether in Savannah or rainforest.
And two drumsticks combine
To produce a harmony of sounds.
Would your heart beat with mine?
And lull me to greatness,
If I were your friend.

An iron sharpens an iron,
Because, they're of similar strength.
But, a wood dulls an iron
And iron breaks a wood,
For, they have no similar strength.
If I were your friend,
Would you break me?
Or I dull you?

The journey of life is long and hard.
Different philosophies have trod it hard.
If I were your friend,
Would you think it long and mad?
That my heart saunters,
But, yours is passion.
