They say the grass is always greener on the other side
Is it?
Or do humans seek to squeeze perfection out of life’s lemons
And aspire for greatness from the depths of Tartarus ?
They say True Love Never Dies
Is it?
Then does it simply linger on, disembodied whispers in your heart?
Then again, Love can kill
They say Ignorance is Bliss
Is it?
If you don’t know it’s hurting, does that mean you feel no pain?
If it doesn’t kill you, it only hurts so bad you wish it did!
They say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
Is it?
Unless it’s plucked by angels and thrown into the sea
You go a long way for answers but end up lost.
