creating screen-gleam blindness.
Building the future.
This Haiku reflects my ambivalence towards the digital age.
Lol, I guess you could call me something of a dinosaur, but I think that humans have a tendency to get distracted by their computers and devices in general. I'm not saying it is true of everyone, but some (and I include myself in this) definitely do get that 'screen-gleam blindness' sometimes, and it can lead to trying to build the future with less than 100% focus.
Having said all of that, I really enjoy many things that I'd be unable to do without my computer. Blogging, gaming and the vast research library that the internet offers for my creative writing are all things I would find it hard to live without.
I have decided to challenge myself for the next month - until the 01st of July - to post a daily Haiku on Hive. Each week will have a different theme based on picture prompts from either Pixabay.com or Unsplash.com.
This week's broad theme is technology.
Thanks for reading 🌿
