I dont understand haikus...

Is it in the word arrangements or their meanings?

The rules of Haiku are quite simple.

It is focused on two things really.

The syllables per line... most haiku poems adhere to 5/7/5
so in my haiku in this post

The winter maelstrom (5 syllables)
wears cliffs down to shale and sand - (7 syllables)
an ocean hourglass. (5 syllables)

And

That is the skill of Haiku. I hope this explains things 😀
