I fell in love again
In messed up world
that makes it impossible to believe
Difficult to believe love exists.
The exchanges break us,
The fallacy of believing you
And the rest of the liars
That taught me to lie handsomely.
How does one promise to love
Then just wake up to walk away?
To leave without reason
And say it was for the best.
To think of it I loved before I was a liar,
Then I became liar -
I broke hearts and quit,
I never meant to.
