Sometime in the future everyone stopped believing, there were no dreams, no hopes and no fears
Those in the archways thought it would never come, but those pillars came crashing down
Our force did not stop there, we brought the end to radio because everyone was tired of their voices
and soon thereafter their music
Sepia toned paper on official documents just to melt you into an era you never knew
Low buzzing, and small static rifts in the distance, the power sources are near
It was like how it used to be; everyone read TV shows, and no one went to the movies.
That’s when they chanted, "Kill the movie stars "
Worn pages of People magazine, scattered through the city streets
That wild rumor of a man who heard "Jazz" and proved that sound can induce movement
A mob dressed in a painfully bright yellow, “yes it was glorious once, they were called ‘Famous people’”
but now they were shunned, and then there were no more corporations.
People stopped making money off each other.
How barbaric were we to place value upon one another so easily, so indifferently, it was the worst of times.
That’s when they chanted, “The end of corporatocracy"
The revolution is happening and all those albums are heading towards the fire, down the pit, up through the remaining atmosphere
Carbon particles returning into space, up to where we came from
Arising into darkness in silence
Sleeping in the cold steel beams in space, floating ever so gently
They asked to record our voices, not for us but for them and we said never again
That’s when they channted, "Kill the radio stars "
We stopped the wild machinery of reproduction and they said we were anarchist
We destroyed the fields around us, melted into one, experienced our pains, our ignorance and pushed past the things they said to us this whole time
we cried together and shared in pain,
we broke apart into a trillion pieces,
Fractured and in this painful reflection, we found our dreams
We were taken our rights of reproduction, and the unborn generation seek revenge
That’s when they chanted, "Kill the breeders "
The sounds disappear, the scene is still and we broke through
Binded by constructions that were never our own, we lived to see the day that this would change
So we could remember what pop music was like in the last century, in what was the pinnacle of democracy
That’s when they chanted, "Kill freedom and restore liberty "
