Hello. This short Pokemon TCG post covers Slowbro and Thievul card reveals from Japan's Abyss Eye. Abyss Eye featuring Mega Darkrai ex releases in Japan on May 22, 2026. The English cards release sometime in July 2026.

Slowpoke & Slowbro
Slowpoke does not seem very good. The Headbutt attack is not great and the Unlimited Disposal deals no damage but you discard as many cards as you like.
Slowbro is the evolved form of Slowpoke. The Zen Headbutt requires 3 of any Energy to deal 110 damage. It is compatible with Ignition Energy.
The All Out attack for 1 Psychic Energy deals 50 base damage. If you have no cards in hand, then All Out does 210 damage.
Dealing 210 damage is strong but having no cards in hand is pretty bad though.
Nickit and Thievul
Nickit as an attacker is not very good but it is needed for Thievul.
Thievul is the Stage 1 evolution of Nickit. Razor Fang is not a great attack as a lot of Energy is needed. Skill Thief requires 2 of any Energy for the attack. If there are no cards in your hand then you can choose 1 of your opponent's attacks and use it as this attack. Copying attacks can be pretty powerful but having no cards in hand is not great. In general, more cards in hand gives you more options in terms of setting up Pokemon, evolving Pokemon, attaching Energy and so on.
