Tired of seeing the world change before my eyes.

For most of my life, i haven't payed much attention to politics, but during 2016 i stumbled over alternative media on Youtube, and found it a lot easier to know what's happening, and which topics to find more info about myself.
At first it seemed like i really got a better understanding of what was going on in the world. Like the media i'd started watching had pulled the curtain on The Great Wizard for me.
But as i really tried following many of the major and minor events around the world, it became more and more clear to me that i still didn't know how complex things really are. How one event is correlated with another, how something i thought would have one effect turned out to do the exact opposite, or how polarized the climate is between people on differing sides of a debate. I hear about one topic, and i research it, but then something entirely different happens and i'm faced with yet another topic i need to learn about.
But worst of all, has to be the need i feel to understand all this, and how tiring it is to constantly see things move in the wrong direction, even if they started on a positive note.

The world is one single political climate, and everything is connected to everything else in one way or another, and you can never know exactly how things work. I don't even know how "correct" my understanding is, but i do know that the things i believe are happening are very worrisome. Even if i'm only half-ways right.

Reading and hearing and considering all these things, and knowing all the things i've learned in little over a year is a lot more tiring than it is fulfilling. On the one hand, i wish to just stop learning about what's going on, just let go of it and stop caring. But on the other hand, i don't think i'd be able to stop thinking about things, and if i could, it would mean just accepting whichever future is coming.
Most of all, i just wish things were as simple as they seemed two years ago, before i even knew half of how insane this world is.
