Numerous Arrests Made Over Protests in Britain

Following the death of the Queen there are multiple arrests that have allegedly been made in Britain after one individual or another had been seen protesting.

The responses to the news of her passing have been varied around the world, with millions paying their respects and many crying out in sorrow over the loss. On the other side though there has been a heavy amount of criticism, with many calling into question the monarchy and its history, some of those who have been protesting have been dubbed 'anti-royal protestors' by the media.

Those who had been seen protesting have shared messages like, 'Not My King,' before being whisked away by authorities.

The action to swiftly crack down on anyone protesting like this has caused alarm even for those who might passionately disagree with the message being aired or the timing of it all.

The silencing of those who seem to be peacefully protesting and exercising free speech is alarming to a few. But as we know these days exercising your free speech and protesting are anything but straightforward when engaging in those activities on public spaces.

Some of those who had been arrested have also shared their stories after the ordeal. The backlash on those protesting has now drawn attention once again to the importance of free speech and the right to peacefully protest.

Personally I deprecate peaceful protest and commend sovereign persons, all of us, to impose our autocratic rule over ourselves regardless of any attempt by others to rule us. Either we are free, or we are chattel.

I am free.

Thanks!
