Following the pardon for Ulbricht there has been an outpouring of support and this includes monetary donations too that some have sent his way to help him now that he is back on the outside. Since the news spread about the release we have seen a great deal of support from the crypto community that has been shown.
So far there are hundreds of thousands of dollars that have been raised it looks like as well to help with this new transition.
Even legal experts and political figures have joined in along the way and voiced criticism for the move to put him behind bars as well, it's a pardon that many might say is long overdue.
Some might call it a controversial move and never fully understand why anyone would empathize with such a figure, but it seems that overall there is a great deal of support that has been coming out online after the decisions was made and announced.
A number of individuals might have asked for or fought for such a circumstance to unfold, but who ever really thought this day would come? As far as pardons go there are arguably many more controversial figures to get upset over that have received them over the years.
