George Orwell was oh so right when he said "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act". We live in an era where telling the truth will get you hunted and persecuted by the criminals and liars that have power in government.

Think that's false? Then you need to understand the case against Julian Assange. Assange spoke the truth that other so-called "journalistic" enterprises of the mainstream media refused to publish. After Assange took the first step to publish the truth about government misconduct, other "news papers" followed.
Yet, the majority of these so-called "news agencies" purport to be purveyors of truth, and lambast those who don't toe their narrative as being spreaders of "fake news". The reality is the opposite. And we have proof from their own mouths that they are the ones who compromise truth in order to align with government-sanctioned narratives.
Many in government want to keep things under wraps. Media organizations like the New York Times comply with the governments wishes. They contact government officials before publishing news stories in order to get approval from them. The reason? Not to violate "national security". We've heard that tired old horse many times as an excuse to squash information from getting into the public mind.
On June 15, the NYT admitted they cleared a recent story with the U.S. government as a response to Trump. Trump had accused the NYT of "a virtual act of Treason" when they published a story about the U.S. increasing their cyber attacks on Russia's power grid. Trump didn't like that and tried to turn them into "traitors".
But like good little order-followers, the NYT had gotten approval from someone else in the U.S. government to publish the information.
"Accusing the press of treason is dangerous. We described the article to the government before publication. As our story notes, President Trump’s own national security officials said there were no concerns."

The NYT, and others, toe the government narrative. Is this what WikiLeaks did? No. They put the truth out there. They didn't ask for permission to expose U.S. war crimes. WikiLeaks wouldn't have gotten it if they did ask anyways.
This is the major difference between WikiLeaks and mainstream media. One actually puts the truth out and doesn't bow to government demands. While the other pretends to be concerned with the public interest in truth while the bend to the government to keep things from the public. After all, real journalists get approval from national security officials before they talk about almost anything.
Note the words of neoconservative former speechwriter for President George W. Bush and Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen and how he referred to Assange compared to "real journalism".
"But as I wrote in 2010, unlike 'reputable news organizations, Assange did not give the U.S. government an opportunity to review the classified information WikiLeaks was planning to release so they could raise national security objections.' So responsible journalists have nothing to fear."
And this is what makes up much of mainstream media's critical thinking skills to honestly evaluate and report reality to the rest of us.
Thank you for your time and attention. Peace.

lol.
We're straight up repeating the fall of Rome at this point.
Shit is so corrupt that the people in charge are like,
As all the proletariat simultaneously expel a sign of relief after they've been told everything is fine.
MAKE SURE YOU CLAIM YOUR PALCOINS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, AIRDROP ENDING SOON!

Truth hidden in plain sight... again.
The New York Crimes?
The toilet paper of record?
They would never do such a thing! Like, report the truth.
too many stories of people with hot, nation shaking news go to the press... and get a bullet for it.
too many lies reported, too many stories spun to the opposite of truth.
Remember, the Truth has no truth and the News has no news.
I guess they aren't reporting to government before approval then :P
