Great post Jerry and you bring up some very relevant points. As crypto goes more mainstream these exchanges are just getting swamped. Anytime there's massive volatility one or more exchanges will literally "pull the plug" for awhile to catch up. Not a good look. Could you imagine if this would happen on Wall Street. People would pull their money out so fast the whole system would collapse.
My biggest concern and a question I can't seem to find an answer for is this, why are Polo and the other exchanges disabling Steem withdrawals? This is deeply concerning and I'd really like to know why. Is it an exchange issue? Is there something that needs fixed on Steemit Inc? This is a question we really need to find the answer to. Just this week we've had issues with Polo, Bittrex, Shapeshift, and Changelly regarding Steem, so there's a lot of smoke, we need to put it out before it becomes a fire.
