Growing In Grace
From 2 Peter 3:17-18Open in Logos Bible Software (if available),we see how important grace is, such that God wants all His children to grow in it. But what is Grace?
Grace is:
An incredible declaration and wonder in you.
The excellence of God in your life.
The adoration for God communicated through you.
The delight of the Spirit communicated through you.
The greatness of God's Word showed in you.
The disclosure of God's kingdom radiating through you.
The excellence of God's adoration in you: the outward impression of an internal greatness.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ brings happiness into your soul. The more you know Him, the more you reflect Him; however the less you know Him, the less of Him you reflect. The Lord Jesus is the Word of God, and the Bible instructs that the Word of God is a mirror. Along these lines, the more you investigate His face, the more you see yourself in Him, and the more like him you become; at that point His life and love are communicated through you significantly more.
Your most significant supplication ought to be that you constantly increment in enthusiasm for the Master, in light of the fact that the more enthusiastic you are for Jesus, the less you think about different things, and the less you think about yourself. He progresses toward becoming everything; He turns into your concentration and dream, and therefore every other thing blurs away. The Bible says, he that keeps on investigating the ideal law of freedom, not being a neglectful listener, yet a practitioner of the work, this man will be honored in his deed (James 1v 25).
Consequently…
Think about Jesus in your life.
Think about him in managing other individuals.
Think about him in managing your siblings and sisters. Give Him a chance to be your inspiration; let Him be your explanation behind all, and you will consistently be glad.
