Through preaching and teaching a minister or Christian worker can establish an indirect point of contact by presenting the Gospel as it relates to particular problems. When I speak in church, often young people will come afterwards to confess drug use, promiscuity, homosexuality, and other proble. They would not dare to mention to others.
They do so, parheps because they know I am only there for a day or evening and that I'm gone. But also because they know I will not be shocked by their problem and will understand the difficulty they are having, because of my experience in working with people who have similar problems.
Any pastors or Christian worker who is in a place of leadership can establish similar points of contact and counselling launching pads.
