RE: Nintendo Switch is going to expand it's market share by teaching users how to code in Python, Java and C++, with DLC (DAFUQ?) [ Tech Analytics ]

Now, if only Nintendo would have taking the obvious path they started with the Wii and provided connections to home automation, then the Switch could be setup to the home controller and home media browser.

Then you could custom program your own home interfaces. Of course, they would also have to use the built-in NFC pad to securely add automation modules to the system.

My experience tells me that Nintendo has a great team and talent to make game and basically suck at everything else. We will see how Nintendo Switch integrate with partial open source platform. I personally is not optimistic about this, while I am also certain that Nintendo will take the first step, but not Xbox or Sony.

Based on the quality of the browser in the Wii and Wii U, yup.
