I feel very exited writing this post, because this happens to be my first event in the steem block chain. I started steemit february 2018, but after posting twice i lost the zeal and the motivation to post any thing again here. But after alot of persuation and encouragement by @lordjames and @joyce-ukpobo i made up my mind to come back here not for the reward but for the satisfaction i will derieve after completing a task. It really takes me some time to understand that steemit is a place you nurture your ideas, dreams to achieve a real and a lasting result. Since then i have made up my mind to share this opportunity to people in my locality to partake from this goodness. I have been waiting for this opportunity to effect change to people around me, steemit has given me that platform. I might not be able to reached the whole world at once but i will start from some where, start with your family, then your locality, before you know little by little it will go round the world. The reason for this work shop because we discovered that there are lots of talented youths and corpers in this locality with different skills which needs to be introduced to the steemit blockchain.
Preparation for the event: The workshop will hold this Friday, 22nd of June, 2018 by 2pm. Well alot of efforts has been put in place by me, @lordjames, @rankyb and of course with @joyce-ukpobo. I have invited my neughbours, friends, and collegues to be empowered by this seminer and i share my testimonies as an assurance that the steemit block chain is working because its sounds too good to be true to lots of people.
@rankyb
We booked for the Mini Hall at Bedge Bell 701 Akwanga, Nasarawa State. This hall is suitable for small group meetings.
I have contacted some one for the projector set, screen for the event and the public address system in case the need for one arises.
@joyce-okpobo have negotiated for refreshments so for those attending. There's enough to go round.
We have invited some speakers for the workshop.
@xpency he will be our main speaker for the day he will be speaking on the basic of blockchain technology and Steem blockchain in particular.
@jingis07 He's a self made open source contributor who have made quite some contributions to Utopian.io in many categories including data analysis, graphics, tutorial, social media visibility etc. He was an ex corper of Akwanga so some of the corps members who will be attending the workshop knew him while he was here.
@lordjames As the host he will be speaking to us about quite a lot of things but mostly he will be speaking on building your dreams and passions on the Steem blockchain. He's a believer in dreams and he really believes the Steem blockchain too. So he will spend more time educating people on how the steem block is beyond blogging but a place for building your passion and dreams.
@jingis07,@lordjames, @joyce-ukpobo, @godsnana.
You can also joined us if you are around Nasarawa state or help us to tell people that you know lives around this environment.
You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be colleagues instead of collegues.We have all logistics in place. The stage is set. We can't wait anymore. Like she said in her post, if you live in Nasarawa or neighbouring environment, do well to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity. Global adoption of steem is possible if we all will take this gospel to our worlds.
i mean that is another way of spreading the good news of the steem block chain to all the crannues of the world.
Wooooooo! We are set and Akwanga Corps members and others are going to be INFORMED and entertained. You stay near? Just make it down. Everything is set and it's a #gooooooooal!
