The health practice is one of the most busiest profession to ever find yourself. Their servitude to the community and humanity demands that they spend most of their days at the work place. For those who may be looking forward to earn some additional income may do overtime and can spend as much as 24hours at the work place. Health workers ranges from Nurses, Midwives, Laboratory Technician, Medical directors, Optometrist and Surgeons each of whom may fall under a wide array of health fields practice.
So does it mean they don't get to join communities such as steemit and share their knowledge? The answer would be a no, within those 24 hours of a day, a shift takes only 8 hours, which means 16 hours to put to good use, out of this 16 hours between 6-8 hours is spent sleeping to recuperate lost energy during the day, leaving about 8 to 10 hours. An hour from this can be used on social media, steemit to be exact to share their knowledge and impact lives. Having been on steemit for almost 2 months now, the number of health cryto enthusiast are small especially those in the west AFrican community, thus l have taken upon myself to conceintize them on what cryptocurrency are, what they are about and how they can make the best out of it by joining the steemit community @wafrica.
MY FIRST REACH OUT
In the local Akan dialect in Ghana our elders say "anything we do out there start from home", in other words our immedaite surrounding feels the impact of our changes and actions before the rest of the world. So I started my internship about 3 weeks ago as Seventh Day Adventist Hospital in a town called Kwadaso, in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana, West Africa and luckily for me every week i get to meet new people in my department since nurses are been reshuffled every week.
This week l worked with a team of a lady and two guys one of whom is a colleague from school. The Lady goes by the name Miss Serwaa, the guys are Earl and Seidu. After explaining Cryptocurrency and the steemit platform to them they have decided to join and share their passion with the community. Earl recently made his introduceyourself post, check it out @earlito. Serwaa and Seidu have created their accounts and are pending their confirmation.
WHAT'S NEXT
As stated already, every week l meet new group of people which means every week l get the chance to introduce another group of people to steemit and the west african community to promote health. There's also going to be an increase in health post on our community platform.
So stay tuned and lets stay healthy and reach out to others as we help build the community. Many thanks to @mcsamm for the help and encouragments he continues to give to our community and shoutout to @wafrica and @steemitashanti for the their commitment to see the community develop.

Great health and very good moments @wafrica
Your Post @upvote and @resteemit done.
Thanks for being here.. We surely need fo get most health workers on board
You are most welcome dear....
It's a brilliant idea that. We are here to learn from each other. I believe the presence of health professionals on steemit is an added blessing which we cannot overlook. Some of us don't find the need in having to go to the hospital when we feel a trivial scare, therefore with health practisioners here to teach us what and what not to do...I think it will be very great. It will certainly save us a lot of trouble.
Many thanks @nattybongo for giving us a reason for all health workers to spend time with a new face of digital world, steemit. Indeed steemit is where can also deal with many patience and form an online clinic to handle serious health discussions and talk... Working with other health practitioners like @nairadaddy has widened the scope of health related matters on #air-clinic which deals with the well being of steemians. Be up for the game and help make a complete home for health steemians in Ghana and Africa.. Thanks to @surfyogi and the entire @wafrica curators fpr this effort. I surely will collaborate with you and many other health practitioners l have known in Ghana to organise some free health screening which is going to be powered by steem. It was great when l did one earlier. This must be a collective duty @nattybongo. Steemhealth for the people
Health is wealth, that is popular said and used as a motto by most health organizations. Our health is very important and it shouldn't be gambled with cause it's not a football match.
We all have one life and it should be cherished. Having more health workers coming in under SteemIt would be a welcomed development @wafrica.
Am actually looking and having a dream, where professionals in various field of studies are working and contributing to the betterment of humanity under the umbrella of @wafrica and @steemjet.
