Double Negatives Are Cool.
My last post was on the Brexit vote, in as much as I used it as an example of how not to kill a movement with the words "no" or "not" or "never" in the propaganda campaign.
The words "Not Trump" had gotten him elected for example. "No Smoking" signs make people want to smoke as a second example.
The above sign clearly is for the Brexit, but as my last post states, the same is accomplished with or without crossing out the top word.
A Couple commentaries.
This post is me, checking in, just to see how many black lists I am on. I am wondering if there are still people on Hive that will flag me for no reason. I did notice that every user now can build their own blacklist - that will definitely keep new users interested as they start getting used to the platform. We may even be able to get the HIve price down below ten cents with all these new features.
As for me. I flag people by simply - not upvoting their content. I also support witnesses that are against angering new users. I have a lot of slots open if you want my witness vote. Performance and functionality are my other concerns.
Regarding the cover image.
I noticed that it has been a couple of years since my last post and Today is Brexit Day. It has officially been enacted and takes effect today .
So why did it take so long?
Well, when politicians are met with a vote that reflects the will of the people, they wriggle and squirm in every way possible for years and years in order to try to feign a really strong fight. The try to get it done for their constituents while at the same time trying not to lose the ability to continue receiving money, favours, silence or whatever else from the companies or countries that would be negatively impacted by the will of the people.
This has been an extremely pleasurable struggle to watch as each new PM comes in to fight the good fight and eventually loses their career. If the UK now comes out of the financial funk and all other EU member states continue downward, that 'impact' we talked about will come to full fruition. Even more pleasurable.

There are a lot of great laws being enacted as of today. I hope everyone starts to do their own thinking and math on the nearly year long restrictions caused by the covid scare.

I had approximately 13 days without publishing and I published 2 days ago, I observed that above I had some blacklist options, but the truth is I did not understand how it works... Here always is the intention of creating black lists, I think it is better to focus on positive things and that would make the environment more pleasant.
