Good day everyone!
About a week ago, I saw an update concerning the pause which Utopian will be undergoing. Though it's a nice move, I wasn't really comfortable. While thinking of the news I had heard, I was told about the launch of another platform (RealityHubs). I went through the site, understood it properly and felt the positive feeling of a successful platform. I invested in the platform by buying and staking RHB.
A few days ago, a little bug of users being unable to claim their tokens was found. After a fix, a lot of users sold out their RHB immediately. Guess what, instead of selling mine, I staked it. Why? well, that's because I have a really good feeling that this platform will grow beyond imagination.
Now, this new platform needs moderators who will be able to stabilize the platform. Not just the team, I also observed that some steemians misuse the realityhubs tag. This needs attentions as it is considered as spamming the platform. If you've noticed, there's a realityhubs curation account (@reality.curate) which downvotes contents that are not related to the platform. However, that isn't enough to build stronger walls for this platform. Therefore, the brains behind this creative ideology has decided to recruit moderators.
As you may know, my name is Chris Barth and this is my application post for becoming a moderator.
Why do I think I'm fit for it?
Well, I went through the announcement on @realityhubs.info and I saw these questions.
are you
- a lover and reviewer of products?
- someone who loves to try out new things?
- honest in the discharge of your duties?
- able to spend time on the platform?
- a team player?
- experienced in moderation of forums and groups?
and here are my answers;
- I'm a lover and reviewer of products. I've been a contributor to the blog category of the Utopian platform. I'm not forced to review, it's what I love doing. Besides, if take a look, you'll notice that I've already began contributing my thoughts on products to the realityhubs platform.
- someone who loves to try out new things?
Yes Yes Yes!!! I really love to try out new things. - honest in the discharge of your duties?
I'll do what I can to serve the platform, and when talking about honesty, I'm in! I'm a simple and straightforward person. - able to spend time on the platform?
Time? haha. I am ready to spend time on the platform and that because I have enough time. I'm almost online at every moment. - a team player?
Sure! It gets more interesting when I've got teammates who are as consistent as I am, or maybe better than I am. Teamwork has always been the only way. - experienced in moderation of forums and groups?
Umm... here's where I'm gonna slow down. To be honest here, I haven't been a moderator in any forum or group. However, guess what, I've been in several forums and groups. In fact, I'm presently in over 22 standard groups. I've studied them and how things work there. So, all I'll do is to implement/show what I've learnt. Besides, with my teammates, it'll be all fine.
Thanks for taking your precious time to go through this post. I'll also be grateful if you'd at least drop a comment.
