In Venezuela of course we tell you Corn Hallaquitas and our recipe does not contain Manteca, but in the same way if you are a sweet corn tamales lover, you can definitely not miss this recipe
Ingredients for 6 Servings:
- 6 cups of sweet corn, shelled
- 4 tablespoons of lard at room temperature
- 50 grams of butter
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Enough corn leaves soaked in hot water
- To taste sour cream to serve
Preparation:
Place corn kernels in the processor and process 2 minutes. Reservation.
