You're shocked and appalled that a "Christian" man did something forbidden by Christianity... and because he DID NOT act like a Christian... you think CHRISTIANITY is a bad thing, which forbids the bad thing the man did.

To hate a creed because somebody does something evil that it explicitly forbids, is not logical. If the creed forbids it, the problem is the hypocrisy to the creed, not the creed itself.
Are you against "Thou shalt not kill?" You think "Thou shalt not kill" is a bad thing? That that is evil? That's Christianity, which you are saying is a bad thing. Not seeing it, personally.
Classic atheist mistake, though: hating a creed because of hypocrites acting contrary to what that creed explicitly teaches.
That's not the religion being evil. That's not someone being evil BECAUSE OF religion. That is an individual being evil AGAINST the religion.
