Another thing that must guide you in your career plan is your passion. Your passion is your permission. What are you passinate about? David was passionate about killing giants. Even when he became old, he still wanted to go and kill some giants but his sons held him back. They said they should be the ones that should be killing giants now because they did not want the light of Isreal to go out.
David still wanted to go because when you are really passionate about something , they can't tell you to retire. Some people can't wait to retire while for some others , they will need to be forced into retirement because they love what they do so much, it is difficult for them to stop doing it, you will be able to tell that they are passionate about what they do. When you are passionate about what you do, it shows and when you are not, it also shows. There are some employees that you've got to always motivate daily befor they get anything done, otherwise you will not be able to get them to work or get the best out of them.

This is because there is no passion in them, however, there are some others who need no motivation. I heard Dr. Mike Murdock say something and its been wisdom for me. He said "people who always come late to work don't want to be there anyway, it is a sign of secret rebellion". So watch someone who is always late, I am not saying once in a while but I am saying always consistently, continuously late, they don't want to be there, so the best thing you can do for them as an employer is to release them. You've go to be passionate about what you do. Passion is cantagious. A slothful spirit is also contagious and if you allow people with such a spirit around you, it will sooner or later affect you. One of the thing we see about David is that he was passionate, even when you hear him talk, you could tell he was passionate about what he intended to do.
The best way to enjoy career success is to find what you love doing and get somebody to pay you for doing what you love doing and you will never have to work again in your life because you are doing what you enjoy and someone is paying you for doing what you enjoy doing.
