Have you ever wondered why God allows suffering? Why is there so much hatred and injustice in this world? Is there something wrong with asking because God allows suffering?
The answers to all these questions are in this post that I have prepared next.
Some believers of the Christian faith, for example, think that this type of question is a clear demonstration of lack of faith or a sign of disrespect for God, however when reading the Bible, you will see that there were friends of God who asked you questions similar An example of this would be, the prophet Habakkuk when he said to jehovah: Why do you force me to see so much violence and injustice sir? Everywhere I see only lawsuits and fights; Everywhere I see only violence and destruction "(Habakkuk 1: 3 Translation to current language)
Do I scold the prophet Habakkuk for asking this question? No, I do not scold him. Instead, I help him to understand the matter better and to increase his faith, because God hates more and more human beings the evils and injustices. so:
Why is there so much suffering in the real world?
Many people of different religions have asked their leaders and religious teachers why we suffer so much. The most common answers that are usually given to them is that this is the will of God and that he has already determined a long time ago what was going to happen, even misfortunes. However, do you know why people often make the mistake of blaming God for all the sufferings of humanity? In many cases, because they believe that God is the ruler of this world. They do not know a simple but important truth that the Bible teaches us when it refers to the fact that the true ruler of this world is Satan.
The bible clearly says that "the whole world lies in the power of the wicked", the devil (1 John 5:19). For this reason the world has always been full of deceit, hatred and cruelty. That is the first reason why there is so much suffering.
The second reason lies in the nature of the man who is imperfect and sinful. Therefore he is attracted to power and in his struggle to obtain it, he has caused wars, oppression and suffering.
The third reason that could explain human suffering is what the Bible calls "time and unforeseen event" (Ecclesiastes 9:11). As this world is not governed by God, it does not count on its protection. That is why we can suffer damage by finding ourselves in a certain place, at a bad time.
That said, we can only answer the question of why it allows all this suffering. If he is almighty, it is clear that he has the power to put an end to it. So:
Why do not you do it?
To find out why God allows the suffering of humanity we must analyze the following.
Let's make an easy and simple comparison. A teacher is explaining to his students how to solve a difficult math problem. Suddenly a very astute but rebellious student affirms that the way in which he is solving it is incorrect and seeks to generate anarchy within the class. The boy insists that he knows a much better and easier way to solve it. Some of his classmates believe that he is right and they rebel too. What should the teacher do? I could kick out rebellious students from the class but how would the others react? Perhaps they would doubt that their classmates are right and could lose respect for the teacher thinking that he is afraid that he will prove himself wrong. But now suppose the teacher allows the rebellious student to show the class how he would solve the problem.
The teacher we speak of knows that the young rebel and the students who supported him are not right. But he also knows that if you let him try to solve the problem his way, the whole class will benefit. That's right, when you want the rebels to be wrong, students who are sincere recognize that the teacher is the only one capable of teaching the class. In addition, they will understand why rebellious students are then expelled from the class. In the same way, God knows that all angels and sincere human beings benefit when they see that the satan and their rebellious angels do not have the same reason and that humanity can not govern itself.
But why has God taken so long to stop suffering?
Well, let's think of 2 things that the previous teacher would not do. On the one hand, it would not prevent the student from rebelling to prove that it was his solution and on the other hand it would not help him solve the problem. In the same way there are things that you have decided not to do. In the first place, it has not prevented the devil and those on his side from showing that they are right. It is for this reason that in its miles of years humanity has tried all kinds of things and made many advances in science and other fields. In spite of the injustices, poverty, crimes and wars have not stopped increasing.
Second, jehovah has not helped satan rule this world. If God would prevent the occurrence of crimes and misfortunes, do not you think he would actually be supporting the rebels? If God acted in that way would be an accomplice of a lie and as the Bible says it is impossible for God to lie
Some may think that all this suffering could be avoided if God had created mankind in such a way that they were capable of rebelling. But God has decided to give us the gift of free will, that is, the ability to make our own decisions. Would we be happy if God had programmed us like robots just to fulfill orders? Obviously not, that's why today we can decide, for example, what kind of person we will be, what life we
will lead and what friendships we will make.
You now have that wonderful possibility of using free will in the best way. You can also join the billions of human beings who have sided with God and peace.
