What happens when we use the Bible ONLY to define WHAT the 'antichrist' was?

NOTE the word 'antichrist' does NOT appear in the book of Revelation.
That's interesting isn't it?

So what was a BIBLICAL definition of the 'antichrist'?

It was a Jew that did NOT acknowledge Messiah had come in the flesh.

It isn't good enough to say it was 'someone who opposes Christ'.
It was more specific than that.

The specific definition would be "a Jew of the Old Covenant that did NOT acknowledge Messiah had come in the flesh."

'Believers vs the Unbelievers':

Believer = Old Covenant Jew that believed Jesus was the Christ(Messiah) and had come to set them free from the First Covenant (law of sin and death). This believing Jew received Jesus as His Savior and thus received the inheritance of the New Covenant.

Unbeliever = Old Covenant Jew that did NOT believe Jesus was Messiah and chose to stay under the OC. This was the 'type' of 'antichrist'.

'Antichrist' was not A person.
It was a TYPE of people.
It was not a 'political' person.
It was a TYPE of 'religious' person.

1 John 2:18
Dear children, THIS is the LAST HOUR; (<-- John states the 'last hour' was in the 1st century. The 'end times' were all 1st century events.)

and as you have heard that the ANTICHRIST is coming, even now MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE COME. (<--MANY)

THIS is how we know it is the LAST HOUR. (<-- John was referring to 'the satan' being let loose before the crushing of the serpent's head in AD70.)

How do we know the word 'antichrist' was referring to a TYPE of Jew??

Take a look at the VERY NEXT VERSE, right after John mentions the 'many antichrists':

19 THEY (antichrists) WENT OUT FROM US, but they did not really belong to US.
For if THEY had belonged to US, they would have remained with US;
but their going showed
that none of them belonged to US. (<-- the 'antichrists' were the Jews that didn't believe Jesus was Messiah and left John and the other Christians to return to the Old Covenant Law system. This was the meaning of 'falling away' or the 'fall from grace'. To 'fall from grace' meant to leave Grace/NC and go back into Law/OC.)

So.. the 'antichrist' TYPE was not a 'political' person, it was a 'religious' person/Jew.

It was a Jew that denied Jesus was the Messiah offering freedom from the Old Covenant, ushering in the New Covenant(Kingdom).

These 'Unbelievers' faced a horrible tragedy in AD70. It's the 'Gehenna' that Jesus was warning them of. It was a real life, horrible, tragic event.
