What is the development of man's dominion over the years, and how much is his lack of loyalty?

in #religion6 years ago (edited)

To begin with, if we want to know about a subject, we must investigate very deeply the subject. Today I wanted to talk about the domination of man by others and the lack of loyalty he has for it...
I wanted to talk about this because today we live with the fact that there is a lot of lack of loyalty, which leads to the fact that it is a basic element where you can not turn your back on a certain person or people who are united, either through marriage, friendship, courtship, family, among others. And if we settle on the part of the Dominion, it comes from the fact that dominion is a fact of control, of having authority over a certain thing.
In this blog I will explain how it has changed throughout history and what its impact is today.
and since this is intertwined with hypocrisy...

What is loyalty?

Loyalty is a virtue that develops in the consciousness and involves fulfilling a commitment even in the face of changing or adverse circumstances. Loyalty is a return, an obligation to others. It is a commitment to defend what we believe and in whom we believe. Loyalty is a value, for he who is a traitor is left alone. It is important to know about this as we see it, loyalty is closely related to other virtues such as friendship, respect, responsibility and honesty among others. Historically this began in the mid-fifteenth century, due to facts that reflected fidelity in love, or an oath that has been made, but the Britannica had as an ideal to change this meaning for a simpler and monarch, attributed it as a law, a law that takes legal rights.

''A story from the time of the great reigns, it is said that kings sought two very important things from their most beloved subjects; the first of these was loyalty and the second, fidelity. Although for many the second is synonymous with the first, for the kings it was not. For the kings of old then, to find loyalty in their subjects was a divine treasure and a real value.''

If we look at it from a religious point of view.

  • When King Solomon said that a friend is like a brother, he established a high degree of loyalty and one that also involves devotion.

  • Abraham, who was called the father of nations, believed in God's promises and was loyal to Him until the end of his days. Job's patience was nothing more than his loyalty to God. I knew I'd never let him down. Which leads me to believe then, that loyalty inevitably brings love.

  • There is a sphere beyond the earthly sphere, and if loyalty to man conflicts with loyalty to God, the latter has priority. In the Gospel of Matthew 6:24, Jesus says, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will esteem the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

What is the domain?

dominion is the power or ability of a person to control others or to make use of his or her own. The concept can be associated with power or authority. Since it is equivalent to property, it is not correct to say that one has dominion over other people; a relationship of power can be exercised over them, but not of property rights, since slavery has been abolished, or it is a duty...

Many times we go beyond ourselves as domination and let ourselves be carried away by power to the point of abusing it (Power here is understood as "influencing" others). Power exists to abuse and mistreat others feeling a certain superiority before others when someone refuses to accept responsibility for the welfare of others, especially. This being true, the political, religious, etc. has passed, what is certain is that "power has been exercised unbalanced and in favor of those who hold other powers in society.

By agreeing that the abuse of power is about enslaving people, if we go to What is it? It is to have someone strongly mastered or to make them work hard and with excessive rigor. The history of slavery in the ancient world is closely linked to war. Often, prisoners of war were reduced to slavery by their captors or the winners of battles, and forced to work in military or civilian tasks, such as construction, engineering or agricultural labour.

  • Ancient Egypt : Slaves were people normally captured in war or bought abroad.
  • Greece: Slavery is essential to the functioning of Athenian democracy, in order to give free time for politics to free men.
  • Rome: Slavery became a vital economic pillar for Rome. During the Upper Roman Empire and the Republic it is estimated that between 15% and 20% of the population were slaves, and until the 2nd century when the laws of protection were enacted, a master could legally kill a slave.

Therefore, as humanity has progressed, they have not understood the true meaning of some concepts, such as these two concepts, domination and loyalty.
If we begin to analyze ourselves in the world in which we live, we are surrounded by a competition where falsehood, hypocrisy, humanity has been lost. In fact, every day we get worse and worse, we don't even have any sensitivity anymore, we don't even have any sensitivity, we put four fingers in front of us to see what we become, what we choose, what we share, what we practice and say.
It is sad to know that there is so much savagery and ambition for power that we make it impossible for the person on top to fall. And let us be the ones in that power.
