Read This Controversial Article About Marriage And Sex
Some Christians, not all, believe or were taught that the only reason for sex is a reproduction.
Other schools of thought teach that there are higher reasons for sex; namely, the ultimate joining together of a married man and woman – joining their two spirits, joining their two minds, and joining their two bodies.
The Biblical perspective is that God made men and women sexual beings. He made our nervous systems capable of receiving pleasure from the sex act. Sex in marriage is good and holy and ordained of God.
Let us look at the following scriptures to find out more what the Bible says about marriage and sex.
Genesis 2:21
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh.
Verse:22
And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
Verse:23
Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of a man.
Verse:24
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 4:1
AND ADAM knew Eve as his wife, and she became pregnant and bore Cain; and she said, I have gotten and gained a man with the help of the Lord.
Exodus 20:14

You shall not covet your neighbor's house, your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant,...
Proverbs 6:29
So he who cohabits with his neighbor's wife [will be tortured with evil consequences and just retribution]; he who touches her shall not be innocent or go unpunished.
Proverbs 18:22

Titus 1:6
[These elders should be] men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable, the husband of [but] one wife,...
Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept undishonored); for God will judge and punish the unchaste [all guilty of sexual vice] and adulterous.
1 Peter 3:7
In the same way you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off. [Otherwise, you cannot pray effectively.]
