I recently started selling stuff online to offset the deficient income I needed to pay all my bills. So this was another one of my trips to Walmart. 3 ps5 games for $3 each, ps4 and Xbox games for $7, and 3 monster trucks for $25 each. I'm posting this because I finally sold the 3 trucks in one day. $86 each. This has changed everything for me. I have made over $1000 per month with Amazon, eBay and Uber Eats. I drive for Uber to make money, to buy products to sell so I don't have to use my paycheck.
The clearance aisle are my friend. I use to hate Walmart now I go 3 times a week.

See the bottom of the shelf doesn't have a price tag so that's where the clearance markdowns are. I know for a fact that 6 of those games are $10 or less and they sell on amazon for over $15 - $20.

Also my first post I noted I sold a lot of stuff and only made $0.18 off a $50 sell. I set up a spreadsheet to give me the lowest price I can sell to make a 30% profit. So no more penny sells. img_20220220_104851144_hdr.jpg
This Guitar and Game for Ps5 sold on eBay for $35 plus shipping of $16. I got the guitar and game for $3 each at two different Goodwill stores. This was a lesson on shipping because they offer a weighted base shipping rate but this package needed to be really long. Because the neck doesn't come apart. I constructed a box that allowed it to set between two pieces of styrofoam and it worked. Shipping did cost around $21 but I still made my 30% which is what is important.

I have shipped the product in to Amazon FBA (fulfilled by Amazon). If you do not know what that is, it is where you send your product in to amazon and they store, pack and ship your products. This is nice because you make money while you sleep. It's like you own a store you sell stuff and your employees handle everything and you get sent your money.

I recently sent a package in and the shipping was totally free. So my shipping cost was $0. This brings the cost down so I am glad about that because I not have much margin on some planting pots I send in.

I bought all of them for $1.24. Let me explain my process to coming up with the price I will sell them at. Since I have a Tax ID I only paid $1.24.
Listed price $5.98
Purchase cost -$1.24
Referral fee -$0.90
Other fees - $0.00
FBA fees -$2.80
Weight handling -$0.00 (items under 3oz free) I did myself
Other FBA fees -$0.00 (Bubble Wrapping / Polybag) I did myself
Shipping to FBA -$0.00 (normally it's about $.050)
Profit $1.04 / $1.24 = 83%

With my profit being 83% at $5.98 if need be I can lower it all the way do to $0.40 and still make a 30% profit. I tested this product using the selling FBM (fulfilled by merchant). Here's how it broke down.
Listed price $6.09
Purchase cost -$1.24
Referral fee -$0.00
Other fees - $5.57 (I paid shipping)
FBA fees -$0.00
Weight handling -$0.00 (items under 3oz free) I did myself
Other FBA fees -$0.00 (Bubble Wrapping / Polybag) I did myself
Shipping to FBA -$0.00 (normally it's about $.050)
Profit $-0.72 / $1.24 = -89%

I quickly realized this product needed to be sold FBA so I don't have to pay to shipping because that little thing made the difference.

Now the moster truck will be a task. They are huge but they are light weight. So Even is shipping is $25 I will still make my profit margin of 30%. But I my actually aiming for any type of profit on this because shipping is looking like it will be around $60. I calulated the shipping for $20 unless someone in California order it and of course that's who ordered them. So I am reducing the box size to get a cheaper rate. Wish me luck.
