In this game, players will collect, battle and trade unique digital assets stored on the Hive blockchain. This ensures that all assets are scarce and can be verified for authenticity.

Retzark is fast-paced, exciting, and just about ready to play!

The game focuses on trading and collecting cards, then using them in battles to win the spoils of war.

Each Retzark battle is played with two players who fight against one another.

The primary objective is to cause the most damage to the opponent's base.

The rules for every battle are the following:

• The objective of the game is to cause 20 damage to the opponent's base or cause the most damage in 10 rounds.
• Every game has a set energy of 8 then goes up by 1 per round.
• The sum of the energy levels of the cards chosen by each player cannot exceed the match energy level for the battle.
• Each player gets five cards from their deck at the start of each match. They then place their cards on the board. Up to three of the five cards can be placed on the board's battlefield.
• From turn two onwards, you can only put up to 2 cards per turn. Choose wisely!
• Every start of each round, you will automatically draw 2 cards.
• The player with the least amount of damage to their base wins. The winner will receive a random prize based on the winner’s performance.

Prizes won are Ret tokens, Retzark cards, or Upgrades.

Ret Tokens can be used to wager on the outcome of a match or converted into Zark Tokens. Zark Tokens are used to purchase cards and upgrades and can be traded on exchanges. Ret Tokens can only be obtained by playing RETZARK or joining tournaments.

Retzark Game Cards

The game cards of Retzark feature many stats and figures that can help you master the game. We will publish a more in-depth play article on the cards and the stats. However, see below what a card looks like and its various stats.

Stats and what they do:

• Health determines how much health a unit has. Every time the unit is attacked, it loses points. The unit will be sent to the graveyard if the card's health reaches 0. If the unit has shield points, those will be reduced first unless stated otherwise. The Max value is 10.

• Shield determines how many shield points the unit has. It will get used first unless stated otherwise. The Max value is 10.

• Speed determines the order by which a unit attacks or uses abilities. The higher the number, the higher the probability of the unit going first. The Max value is 10.

• Energy determines how much it costs to deploy a unit. The Max value is 10.

• Attack determines the damage the unit can do to an enemy unit. The Max value is 10.

You also have specialty passives and add-on abilities to enhance your play style and chances of winning!

Retzark story

The Land of Arondaze, year 760.

Humanity has entered the age of technology. An old faction concocts a grand scheme from the shadows. The wealthiest people in the land have banded together to take control. The resistance continues to gather believers to join their cause.

Those who are neutral continue to disperse, trying to evade the brewing storm. Meanwhile, a looming threat, more significant than anyone can imagine, is creeping in the distance, threatening to devour Arondaze itself…

Four factions of Arondaze are battling for control - you can pick which one you want to fight with to win glory.

Sceptre of Power:

Oldest faction out of the four. These people worship their namesake - an ancient artifact called the scepter of power. They believe a god used the scepter during one of the many wars predating humanity's existence. Most of the top brass in the military and various people who love martial arts are under their umbrella.

Freedom Federation:

The resistance fights against oppression and justice. Mostly antagonistic towards The Sceptre of Power. They want the world to be open and democratic; they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.

Endless Wealth:

A newly formed faction by the wealthiest men and women in the world. They aim to control the world through their ridiculous amounts of wealth.

The Wanderers:

--

Not an official faction but an amalgamation of people not under the other three factions.
The majority are people who are from the far reaches of the world. Has no clear chain of command but has a famous spokesperson who represents them.
