Pandowear Upgraded
"Pandowear", lol, is the way I refer to apparel that were popularised during the lockdowns years ago. Talking of which, with the exception of face masks, I can't think of anything more popularised than the rubber footwear "Crocs". They are already popular with medical staff, having worn them for decades, but for whatever reason they became really popular during the pandemic.
I had a standard pair myself which I wore nearly everyday for an entire year haha. I got this pair as a present years ago but didn't wear them much and stored them away. I've resurrected them this year for wearing in the garden. This pair has a slight upgrade though; they're lined inside with fabric to make them more comfortable to wear. I used to wear them just indoors, but now they're my garden shoes.
Oddly enough, or perhaps not, they're still the top seller on Amazon, especially in the UK, in their category. They now also come in different colours and with accessories targeted at women and children. I can't imagine men want to add ornaments and decorations to theirs, maybe some men do who knows, but I certainly don't. I can see how kid may want to have their favourite little characters or flowers plugged into the shoes though. They fit into the holes on the shoes. The person that came up with this is probably (hopefully) extremely wealthy now. It's a great idea. I don't know why I didn't think of it.
Peace & Love,
Adé
I buy a set ofCrocs every year, have been doing that since about 2010 when I picked up a cheap dupe to use as slippers at my mum's. They were so comfy, I started buying the originals. I have several pairs for every day and then each year I look at the limited editions. My favourite was the snakeskin print ones and they have had a lot of positive comments. Last year I bought the x Basquiat ones which came with some of the little charms. I thought they might be a nuisance but once you're wearing them and getting on with what you want to do, you don't notice. I'm not sure about the lined ones for all the cons that you describe.
OMG you're a connoisseur!!! 2010! You wore them before they were cool :)
Who knew? 😂

I've never had a pair of my own. I use my son's old ones in the garden, but I'm not sure sure about wearing them elsewhere. My other half has some lined ones that she likes.
I've heard you can get little lights to fix on there. Maybe those are handy for going out in the dark.
Oh how cool. I've never seen the little lights but I can imagine them haha. The accessories are getting out of hand 🤣
Love my crocs, have got three pairs which I love, two of which are full of jibbitz. Years ago I would mock people that wore what at the time were seen as shit footwear, but my oh my how times change, they are so comfy and pretty much on trend, never off my feet once the sun comes out to play.
Hahaha. I know what you mean. 🤣
