Beautiful life 💗
With only the birds chirping and some dogs barking in the distance, it's a generally quiet Wednesday morning here in DD. The calmness of the surroundings soothes the soul and we are grateful.🙏
Sometime less than a month ago, we embarked on an unplanned journey to the neighboring region, purposely for sightseeing. Unbeknownst to us, my brother-in-law wanted to go somewhere else but didn't say a word until we were at the Quirino Arch. So from there, we drove further where we could find any two-legged mammals to ask for directions. But we did pull over a few times to enjoy the landscapes in the distance.
And also for our Lil Guy to heed nature's call and stretch his legs out of the car. He loves his leisure time so we let him have it, even just for a short moment😅
Then it was time to find Cattle Land. It was a coincidence that we met my brother's schoolmate and she was headed to where we wanted to go so she led the way, entering a seemingly endless winding narrow road.
"There's a cattle!" Ahjay (my niece) exclaimed when she noticed one ahead of us. "Is this Cattle Land?" she continued.
Then there was more in the open field where the grass was greener. Aah, maybe this is part of Cattle Land indeed!
We went on, enjoying as much scenery as we could. We even sighted fields and the river in the distance.
Then the narrow road started to descend. It seemed like we were headed to the bottom of the mountain or toward the river and could no longer see the blue car leading us. She must be waiting for us somewhere. We couldn't speed up since it was our first time traversing their roads and don't know what was ahead so we were careful.
And see what I mean? Even the cattle use the road and had we been speeding, we might have frightened this creature.
"Why are there letters on the cattle?" Ahjay was curious. It is the owner's tag, her uncle (the farmboy) answered. "But why do they need to put the tag on them?" she inquired further. "So people will know who owns them," the hubby explained.
"Maybe a hundred or so ago, this place was underwater," the hubby stated. "Why do you say so?" I asked and he pointed at the stones along the roadsides. "Is that it?" said I. "Yep!" he said nonchalantly.
Going further, we found a crossroads. My brother's car is nowhere in sight. Did he go straight ahead or turn right?
We chose to take Bucnit. We saw some farmers on the field. They were scattering what seemed to be seeds. The hubby thought they were sowing corn.
Then this made us think twice for a moment. Do you think we found our way or got lost somewhere?
That I would share on another day...😂
Until then, happy hump day, frens!

I had completed the journey with you. Thanks for the amazing experience.
Hey, Luci! thank you. How have you been?
OMG!!! The beauty of the place is fascinating. Almost all the photographs give me refreshing vibes and I just feel that it's a place of heaven. I wish I could feel it by physical appearance.
