I'm not sure if that is the right understanding. SBD is supposed to give you 'approximately one USD worth of STEEM'. How many STEEM tokens that is depends on the STEEM price.

  • If STEEM is $0.10, you would get 10 STEEM tokens per 1 SBD.
  • If STEEM was $1.00, you would get 1 STEEM token per 1 SBD.
  • If STEEM was $10.00, you would get 0.10 STEEM token per 1 SBD.
