We make it happen you might not agree with basic income and suppose you are the type that says "you better work for it" Used to be me. Now with steemit its a whole new ball game and building a community is a top priority. To help out those in need and show support where it belongs.. now don't confuse this with a handout no no no, you still need to do a bit of work to earn it.

Okay back to @steembasicincome read a bit about their intro here. SBI, In the past I have done contests it is now time to change this to give every one a chance of a basic income on steemit(Considering you are not on any blacklist, of course)

I am not sure what would be cons. Maybe it would just driven the price up to catch up on the money that is circulating for income.
Pros would be some sort of security to have basic needs covered, at least food. People will more appreciate things as they would have some sort of backup or savings.

I've been really interested in basic income projects for a while now. The biggest positive in my view is that doing so should theoretically provide for the basics of someone to live, allowing them to put their labour, whether that be mental, physical, digital, or otherwise, to what they enjoy or find fulfillment in. This would hopefully allow people to take care of issues that arise more easily, create a more happy, healthy and fulfilled population. It's certainly an idealistic situation, but there are a lot of benefits from a variety of perspectives.
If you think about it, blockchain has already used this concept to some extent, with the whole crypto faucet ecosystem. If you showed up to click that button (and be bombarded with ads) you got a bit of BTC/LTC/DOGE etc... Not quite the same as basic income, but a bit similar.
One of the pluses of basic income is that it would allow people to be more picky about work. People would not have to rely on bad jobs.
Some cons are that costs may go up and basic income may cause inflation. Basic income is also very costly to maintain.
@chronocrypto this is really good giveaway. Will also make other people to Participate.
I want to learn about this better
One of the advantages of SBI idea is the need to vote for other user and get shares for both. This is good for communication and interaction between users.
Maybe minus of the system is a small amount of income, but for new users, without resources, any income is very good.

What I like about SBI, is that it helps several people from low levels to have an opportunity to be seen by other users
What I do not like about SBI, is that you do not always have great reward with the low level bots that give me an upvoted

Basic income is a good thing as everyone could live a life they deserve. Almost end of powerty.
But on the other hand people could become lazy or demotivated.
So it is a hard one. But a nice contest where I participate :)

BTW, Tier 2 is not currently possible as the most recent posts by the two accounts mentioned are post-payout!
I think the Basic Income is great to free people from being trapped in their works.
But above all, it's a great instrument to pick up the economy in lesser developed countries.
The bosses might not like it that much, as they need to keep giving incentives to the workers or else they'll move out quickly.
I liked to see this idea ported to Steem. It's a great program to help new users have a little extra income and visibility in their posts.
In Steem, I don't see any con for this amazing program!
