Modern periodic table

While i was teaching my student about periodic table all on a sudden i found a periodic table of 18 groups and i was like wait what??how much it makes differences and yeah it became much easier than the old one.Old one was much difficut to be grouped as there was only 8 groups and having 9or 10 electrons made much difficulties in finding exact group.
