“Bringing Portraits to Life” algorithm work demonstration

I have always known that the Harry Potter universe could not have been built without the science of algorithms:

The video above is about a “Bringing Portraits to Life” algorithm work demonstration, which lets the scientists animate photos or paintings with human faces by “driving video” examples stored in the dataset.

It isn’t a new technology, but I have never seen such good quality before. If you’re not looking for a description of the algorithm, just forward the video to 3:58 and there will be results of the algorithm processing.
