Team 5123 has continuously shown its dedication to its craft, even in the short number of years that we have been around. We were founded in 2014 with the goal of giving the students of Yonkers High School a chance to explore their interests in the STEM field. In the five years that we have been around, we were able to advance to nationals our first year, win the Entrepreneurship Award, have two Dean’s list finalists on our team and were even able to hold our very own FIRST Robotics competition, the Hudson Valley Rally. 
Earlier this very year, we made it to nationals due to our ability to inspire the future generation to take careers in FIRST. We held a STEM night in our school to expose our fellow students to the incredible opportunities available to them. By recognizing our flaws and acting upon them, we have been able to strengthen and solidify our team over the years by working hard together to improve them. We have even been able to demonstrate our capability to adapt to any challenges that come our way. By focusing on the future of the team as well, along with the new opportunities and events we have planned, we can guarantee that we will push forward stronger than we ever did before. Since the team’s conception, we have spread our influence throughout the local community of South Yonkers, the Greater New York Area, and now on an international level.
