Brick Saturday @erikah

Looking through the archives for bricks and I came up with a couple photos from the courtyard of the vacation rental we stayed in when we visited New Orleans a few years ago.

Multi-colored bricks look very interesting. A great choice for #BrickSaturday :)
Even in the evening light it is still clearly visible their different colors.
(Melinda, with regards to our search-I'm looking for a phone number, because all known to me do not work. I think it's a matter of time. :)

That's what my son and daughter-in-law said, too. They had looked and were surprised you found the photo. They felt that the only way to find them was to actually go to Sergieve Posad. Maybe someday you will meet someone from there who might know something!

I emailed You.

Very beautiful photo shot.my friend

Thanks so much!

The old brick walls do lend character.

That was a lovely place to be and the bricks blocked the wind and made the cool March evening feel warmer.

Nice pictures. I like the planters on the wall. I think this is used Chicago brick. The colors like that.

Do you think so? I know a lot of the brick used in NOLA was hand made locally.

that could be. I just had a house with brick like that which was used Chicago brick. But that was Minnesota built in the 40's.

Very good location selection and nice shot.

Thank you! New Orleans is always good!

Beautiful pictures. This is a nice place❤

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

I'm in the middle of the USA, in Wisconsin.

oh great

Not that I'm always proud to admit it.....

It's you great mind showing

They are very beautiful photos. I can see that you had a great time in that place. 💞

That was a fun trip. Sometimes it's hard to look back at all the adventures Jim and I had together, but we did create a lot of good memories.

You sounded like my mom. She says the same thing when she talks about my dad. But she says she does not complain that she lived wonderful moments with him and they created wonderful unforgettable memories together.💕

That is exactly it! But it doesn't stop me missing him every single minute of the day.

So is. At least my mother does not cry so much when she talks about him... Sometimes I feel that you and my mother look a lot like

I think you are right. Oh... I just resteemed a post by @danielvehe that I wanted you and your friends to see.

I'll find it now. I had the pleasure of meeting him in a meet Up that was here on the island

Nice choice for the brick Saturday challenge @melinda010100. The light in the night shots looks very cosy. 😊

It was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine after a busy day of being tourists!

The deep rich colour of those bricks in the third image is gorgeous. It may be an oldie but it's a goodie :) @melinda010100

Thanks! After about 110 shots I finally got one that was acceptable!

These are some wonderful shots. I have spent time in New Orleans and made many trips there years ago. you did a great job photographing there.

Thanks so much! Good memories here for me!

That must have been a lovely place, I like the photos.

A very beautiful brick scene, eager to make a post how to make bricks.

Great angle!
Beautiful concept @melinda010100. Congratulations!

My kind of places for sure Miss Mel ! =))

New Orleans is a fun place to take photos! We had so many rainy days while we were there that I didn't get nearly as many as I wished for.

Is it in New Orleans that french is spoken..?

Well....Louisiana Creole French. I wonder how it compares!
