Hand Shadows No. 2
This week's contest will pay out 5 Steem in prizes.
There has been a request this week to do a repeat of Hand Shadows and since it has been awhile since we last did hands I thought it would be fun! (Please don't enter a photo that you have entered into a previous shadow contest)

@nolasco provided her "Scissorhands" photo from the last hand shadow contest as our sample photo along with a suggestion that you can look up HAND SHADOWGRAPHY for some creative ideas.
I will be doing the judging this week and I am setting a @steem-bounty again this week, although I'm still not clear how that works! Let me know if you understand it, otherwise we'll all figure it out together. If you entered last week's contest check your wallet and see if you got a bounty payout. Let me know!
To get your photo to show up in the comments, you have to post the link to your post AND the link to your photo. It makes it easier to remember what you posted if we don't have to keep clicking the link and it gets more attention for your photo.
If you have an idea for a topic and would like to be a guest judge, let me know!

The Prize will be at least 5 Steem, divided between no more, and possibly less than 10 winners, who will be chosen by me, or a judge selected by me.

If you enter a photo please up vote this post so that the contest can continue. All resteems are appreciated!
You can create a post using the tag shadowphoto but the photo or link MUST be posted in the comments here as well.
Feel free to use editing and effects to create a special look if you want. Phone photos are great!
The photo must be your original work. Please don't use photos that you find on the internet!
Submissions will no longer be accepted after the post has payed out in 7 days.
A Hint. Since this is a week long contest, if you publish a post with your entry, you may want to enter on the last few days of the contest. That way your post is still live and can be upvoted when the winners are announced.

Look at that cool shadow! I love it. The reward was based on Steem that I paid in to @steem-bounty and you will get it again this week. It is based on the upvote you get on this comment it is simply a way for me to give a bigger upvote on your comment without using more of my voting power. I'm uncertain if I will continue doing it. It doesn't seem that many people even noticed it.

@rentmoney give us a hand over here. How does steem bounty work?
I'm figuring out that it is rather like tipu, in that it is a way to expand upon your voting power and pay for additional upvotes to the people that get upvoted on the post. I think I need to be encouraging everyone to upvote their favorite entries, because then the entry will get a bigger share of the Bounty. Does that sound right to you? I'll get it figured out yet!
That's how I've seen it used. @rentmoney uses it I was hoping he would see his mention and chime in
There were a few comments and self upvotes from people who were chasing the bounty and I'm not liking that aspect of it. Unless someone explains how that benefits us, this will be my last time using it.
I've seen that problem with Bounties. Don't think there is a way to stop it

I am just noticing this now.
To place a bounty on a topic all you need to do is go to your wallet and send any amount of Steem or SBD to @steem-bounty. Place the topic url in the memo section with nothing else included.
To give out the bounty all you have to do is upvote comments in the topic the bounty was placed on. Everyone who gets upvoted wins a share of the bounty.
95 % of the bounty that is placed on a topic is paid out via the bounty creator. The other 5 % gets paid out via the community upvotes.
The bounty is then shared between everyone who got an upvote on the same day the topic reaches its payout date.
A good contest for this week @melinda010100, with photos of hand shadows. Hopefully I can take part in a shadow contest for this week. (Shadow Photo Contest is a project supported by @photofriend). Good support.
