Beautiful interactive lamp made from reclaimed junk

Finally ready to hang! I found this beautiful solid brass wall lamp sitting by the trash at my last apartment. It was missing the top shade or diffuser so I made one. Originally it had not lighting in the bottom half and the top just had an edison socket. Lots of polishing and some messing around later I have this.
