You may be thinking of voting trails, some accounts like to follow the votes of others automatically. I didn't talk about a system to autoupvote if posted in a certain community, not a fan of those in general because it doesn't care to check what the content is.

Yes i also don't like the system of auto upvote because than there's almost zero engagement on post as compare to upvote. I see mostly post contain 400 upvote but has only 20 comment 😐
There's a lot of autovotes and trail votes, you can't think 1 vote equals someone saw/read the post and voted or you're gonna find yourself very disappointed with the engagement ratio. It's cause transactions and votes are free on hive so people like to latch on to other accounts to receive passive returns in curation rewards based on what others voted or how trusted an author is/how long he's been here. It's mostly the stake behind the voters that matters.
Yes i saw this and really it was very disappointed due to free voting system of hive. But i think we can do nothing with this.
