RE: Do I Look Homeless?

in #shopping2 years ago

Hi Ben, thank you for sharing your experience! Woah, "angel drops £100 plus"? I like the sound of "guilt giver", I see what you mean, Ben.

My best friend to this date, was homeless in the early '90s, and she used to tell me that her secret weapon was her puppy. She was always getting banknotes ("This is not for you, it's for your little doggie!") while her other gang members were getting coins.

Thanks for your comment, and thank you so much for the tokens!😊

You are welcome buddy, yes angel drops were rare but happened ocassionally , interesting your friend was homeless around the same time as me then i believe.

Yes being a woman and having a dog would have been a smart move back then for sure that is a good combo for earning on the street.

Guilt givers were everywhere in all kinds of form, i remember one time helping a friend get her ring out of a garbage bin because it had fallen in there by accident when she was throwing something away.

Someone had been watching from nearby offices and thought i was looking for food and then came down said he had a bonus at work and would like me to have it was £30.

There was a lot of strange incidents like that, i am sure your friend has many stories.

Have the best day Ray😎
