A while back, I had an opportunity to purchase discounted copper rounds. The only drawback is that they are considered 2nd's. Meaning they didn't meet the high standards of production. But they are still 100% copper rounds. And they still look amazing.
Looking carefully at the reverse, there is stamped "2nd". This is really the only noticable blemish on the round. The images are deeply engraved, fine detail in the copper round. The weight is accurate as engraved on the round "1 OUNCE FINE COPPER".
Other than the printed 2nd, the round is pretty much perfect in my opinion. Does this deserve to be clearanced away as a "2nd"? Or could we put this second, first?
