The 2021 1oz silver Congo Shoebill Stork coin is another great product of the Scottsdale Mint.
The Shoebill Stork is a very interesting looking bird you can see a side view image of the real bird below.

The Scottsdale Mint produces coins for many different Countries the Republic of Congo being one of those Countries. This 1000 Francs shoebill stork coin is a great example of the detailed work they do.
The obverse side freatures the national emblem of the Republic of Congo, a leapard head with an elephants tusk on the left and a spear on the right with a banner under them saying JUSTICE, PAIX and TRAVAIL, the Countries motto. It is incribed with REPUBLIQUE DEMOCATIQUE DU CONGO around the top, 1000 FRANCS on the bottom and the date on the top center of the coin.
The Reverse features a forward kind of mean looking view of the shoebill stork. The reverse is inscribed with the words SHOEBILL STORK, 2021 and 1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER.

Looks like its about $.49 cents. Its not worth much by face value but its a cool looking coin.
It seems as if the Face Values of most Silver and Gold Gold Coins are set too low, including U.S. Coins...
Most silver and gold coins are matching the actual currency used in the Country so they are not set as a value of the metal itself but match what the spendable currency is set at.
