Stacking or Collecting?

When it comes to silver some people would ask what's the difference? There really is only one thing different between the 2.

Stacking

We will start with stacking. You see stacking is collecting with no emotional ties to the silver. You are just adding weight to your pile of silver. Its a pure investment, it has no sentimental or emotional value to you. It is basically melt value.

Thats a stack, means no more to me than the value of the silver. No emotional or sentimental attachment.

Collecting

Now here is where the stackitis kicks in. This is the dangerous part of adding silver to your pile. Couple of reason why, 1st you are attached to it. 2nd price doesn't matter.

Attachment right there at its finest. Here have a close up of the western skulls collection

There is 8 total. Each one is 5 oz.

So becareful with collecting. It can get expensive.

No on to my prize collection. It is probably by far my favorite piece of silver. It was poured by myself and there are less then 10 running around. This one was the prototype.

It was casted in delft clay and hand poured part of the reason the back is smooth with no pour lines.

Well anyways stay stacking my friends.

Cheers

I noticed your story of finding your account keys in a safe on the community discord, and I'm really glad you did becouse that was a great post, I talked about this before but you put it together very well. Looking forward to more great content

Thanks buddy, feels good to be back poking around.

I also heard you behind toxic bullion, if you got something small for sale please let me know ,I would love to get a piece

I agree with this for sure.

That is what I am trying to have that seperation between what I am stacking and what I am collecting. I was a coin collector before coming here. I am just learning the stacking thing and just started buying for the stack. I keep that stuff separate from my collection. The hard part now is that I have started to buy junk silver coins for my stack.

Being a coin collector its gotta be hard for you. Nothing wrong with junk silver of you can get it at a good price.

You have an Awesome Collection...

Thank you sir!

I'm a stacker, but I collect the weirdest silver I can find. In the "last to sell" pile... but I could sell it all tomorrow without regret. I had some hard lessons in the last few years...

Me too buddy, there isn't much I carry that I would sale.

You are a great pourer, @raybrockman !!!

I am a STACKER!!!

Hey, I remember that one. Thanks saver888

Awesome post man. So good to see you sharing again. You've been missed!

Thanks buggs, feel normal again. 😎👊

Good to see ya Big Hoz 🏴‍☠️👊😎🏴‍☠️

Thanks fella, awesome to see you still bouncing around. 😎👊

I favor stacking over collecting when it comes to silver. I can't afford another collector hobby!

When its all said and done, weight stacking is really the only way to go. Thanks buddy!

Hey I recognize that box…. I’m glad that I have that gorilla king one it’s awesome.

Thats a special box from a kickass dude. 😉

An eccentric pirate makes me both Stacker, Collector and part cheesy. ☠️

You can be pirate, as long as you're stacking.. thanks kerris!!
