New release Thor and shitty weather….

Afternoon everyone ….

I feel like I live in Seattle, New Jersey. We have had rain nearly every day for two weeks straight now. Monday was our only nice day this week. I forgot which day it didn’t rain last week, but it was only one day that I’m certain of. Not only has it been raining all week but it’s also been unusually cold as well. The highs have been in the mid fifties, which is completely off for it being Memorial Day weekend. While it’s not typically really warm yet, with highs usually ranging in the upper seventies to the low eighties. Which is much better then the high of fifty two yesterday.

I need some sun!!!

Not only that but it’s really affecting my work schedule. I have two jobs that all I need to do is molding to complete them and get paid. Mother Nature doesn’t want me getting paid I guess.

On a different note….

I came across this email from one of my favorite on line dealers Monument Metals. It’s about the new release from the Royal Mint. It’s a Thor bar, which is the second release of their Norse God series. It’s a great looking piece, but I don’t need another series right now. So I’m passing on it.

Here is a blurb from their website…

Thor—Norse god of thunder—charges into The Royal Mint’s Norse Gods series with the second release in this epic collection. Following the acclaimed debut of Odin, the 1 Oz Royal Mint Great Britain Norse Gods - Thor .9999 Silver Bar (New) and 10 Oz Royal Mint Great Britain Norse Gods - Thor .9999 Silver Bar (New) continue the series’ bold fusion of mythology, artistry, and bullion strength.
Struck in .9999 fine silver and captured in dynamic high relief, Thor is shown mid-charge—Mjölnir raised, his chariot surging through storm and lightning.
Here’s what makes this release stand out:
🔹 1 oz Thor Silver Bar – Compact and detailed. A perfect match if you picked up the 1 oz Odin Silver Bar
🔹 10 oz Thor Silver Bar – Massive visual impact, limited to just 6,000 pieces—ideal alongside the 10 oz Odin Silver Bar
🔹 Series Continuation – Thor is the second release in the Norse Gods seriesfrom The Royal Mint and Germania Mint
🔹 Sealed for Quality – Each bar comes in a beautifully designed assay card, crafted by Germania Mint for security and display

Here is the bar….

Rain? You'll have to take that up with Freyr, the Norse God of Rain.
The Thunder department belongs to Thor who is not the Marvel comics hero I've seen so often, nope.

Those who bought silver with confidence some time ago are now making quite good profits.

Royal Mint bars seem to be of great quality! High relief... that is first! Did you notice the dragon on the bottom of bar? I did not notice that before, has it been on that series? A collab with the Germania Mint.
