Peer to peer Sky trading is here!

As we all wallow together in this very long, very deep accumulation cycle without the faintest sign of a bull in sight, perhaps a bit of welcome good news could help stave off the bear market blues.

Skyfleet old timers may recall the frantic grappling with the C2CX interface or the weeks of waiting we sometimes had to endure to move coins through Cryptopia back when those were the only Skycoin accumulation options. Of course one could always bug a developer enough to give you an OTC deal but Skydevs are notoriously busy and those deals could take days to complete.

The introduction of the direct buy functionality on Skycoin.net as well as numerous new exchange listings bought welcome relief to Sky accumulators and now there is yet another new way to trade Skycoin.

Buysky is a peer to peer platform for buying and selling Skycoin using cash, money order, mail order or any other means of exchange agreed to by a willing buyer and willing seller who may use the site to find each other and set up a trade. Think localbitcoins.com but for Skycoin.

No coins are ever traded via, or stored on the Getsky servers so even if the site gets hacked, users coins are safe and transactions are completely private with only the details which the user selects to place in the advert being visible to the public. Best of all though, Buysky is free to use. There are no transaction or membership fees. Just register, login and trade.

The Skycoin price on Buysky is drawn from Coinmarketcap.com but users are free to place buy and sell orders at any price they like. The user can select to input either a fixed or ranged amount of Skycoin and can choose between inputting a fixed price or to base the order on a percentage of the current exchange rate. For example, if the Sky price is at $100 and then user chooses to sell at 10%, his sky will be listed at $110.

So now there is no more reason to have a pity party in the basement while watching red candle after red candle. Sign up on Getsky.org, find Sky people near you and meet up for a trade over a coffee or drown your sorrows together in some dive. Who knows, you might even recruit a barista or a barman for the Skyfleet.
