Good evening buzzers. Happy Friday! It's time for the weekend, probably my busiest time of the week. Lots of catching up with the family and spending quality time. During the week, everyone's got things to do, always on the go, but the weekends are the perfect time to sloth out!
What are your weekend plans this weekend? Is anything exciting happening or are you living your best sloth life on the couch?
Most of my free time has been sucked up by Youtube recently, I seem to have stumbled down a rabbit hole of gaming content. I've even been watching 'Let's Play' series on games I don't have/don't want to play. It's just easier to continue watching something than find something new these days.
Some of these let 's-play series can be 100s of episodes long, and there's the sloth watching along. To be fair, normally on 2x speed to bring some buzz to the days! However, this also means I consume double the amount of useless content! I remember when YouTube used to be a source of information. Learning new things, and listening to interesting people and topics. Now it's well...a brain drain!
This is one of the things I want to sloth out on a little more and not let consume me so much. I'd be happy to sloth on that habit, unlike most things I sloth on! I continue to chase the buzz looking for content, I've even been a little more adventurous when it comes to interacting with other users! Sloth steps! We'll make this year our year yet!
I can hear the little sloths attempting to blow up their porridge in the microwave, I better run!

youtube is a black hole man 😜
Yeah, YouTube can turn into a black/rabbit hole of mindless content, but there's still plenty out there if you're intentional with what you watch. I'm also excited for the coming weekend. Weekends are the only time I get to game now that we have a baby at home, and during the week my wife and I only manage to get an episode or two of a show in per night. Fortunately, we've already got a few things planned for this weekend, so it should be a good one. I hope yours goes well!
