When the money printer keeps churning out sheets of paper cash, the people who get it first benefit the most, by the time it trickles down the people receiving it are getting something of lesser value. What I love about the super vast majority of cryptocurrencies is the fact they almost always have a max circulation number. It means the printing press can not go on forever and ever.
