When you're on the SoCal Steemit discord server go to the top left corner and hit the dropdown menu and the top option should be 'invite people' then it will give you an invite code you can send to anyone. I'm pretty sure I set it up so all members are able to invite people. If you edit the link to never expire you can just use the same invite link over and over like I do with the one that's linked to the banner.
